Thanks for the link! Blogging is a great way to get the word out about surrogacy. Beautiful loving and happy families come in all shapes and sizes, and i'm excited to be able to participate in creating one!!

Gab:

I hate to admit this, because I usually despise "mainstream" movies, but this one does look pretty funny. Let us know if you see it!

As a fellow blogger I wanted to chime in and say YES to writing and learning more about Surrogacy. If you take a peek at my blog, listed below (And the web site as well) you will see that I was a gestational surrogate 2x giving birth to two sets of twins...it was really an amazing and different experience...EACH time! And, no, I had no problem giving the biological parents their children once they were born...I have my own, thankyouverymuch! LOL I don't need 2 sets of twins in my life! ;-)

If you would like to learn more, feel free to contact me. ( and that goes for anyone reading this)

All my best!
Sharon

My life right now is craving the comic relief that movie looks like it might provide, lol.

You know what I've been interested in learning more about lately? This "trend" I keep hearing about (online, on TV - shows and news) regarding military wives and surrogacy. I've heard many military wives are becoming surrogates to help "make ends meet," which raises all kinds of red flags at once in my mind.

I simply could not imagine parting with a life that has grown in me for nine months. Just saying "hey, here you go" after having bonded? Nope, don't think so. Then there's the question of the mental stability of the donors and the donees. What if she/they change their minds? What if there's friction between the women folk? I just can't imagine dealing with such a sensitive situation.
