Wii sweeps retirement communities
It may just be my own mad, mad desire for a Wii talking, but, I love to see these stories about senior video gamers.
I never really thought about it before, but, I thought this part was sort of cool:
For seniors who can’t play sports any more, the Wii approximates the motion of the games they once enjoyed. It requires players to swing a motion-detecting controller like a golf club, bowling ball, tennis racquet, or other piece of athletic equipment.
Like many things, I know it’s not for everyone, but, I love seeing people trying something new, and, discovering they really like it.
