They are so entertaining! My cats keep me laughing and amazed by all the things they do and the things they get into.
I am truly a cat person. Dogs, and other animals are nice and fun, but cats are what I prefer. I have 2 right now, miss Dusty, she is my baby. I got her as a kitten from a shelter and they said she was 8 weeks old. the vet told me she was only 5 weeks old. we have bonded, but now that she is older, she thinks she’s the mom. so bossy. my other cat is my husband’s boy. he was named by the grandkids after the cat in Cinderella. his full name is Lucifer, but we call him Luce or Louie. He is so sassy, he attacks the magnets on the frig even the ones way up at the top, and knocks them onto the floor, especially if I just cleaned them up. I even wrote a poem about myself having the soul of a cat. because I truly believe we are the same.

As I write this, the highest-maintenance of my cats, Wicket, is demanding his late supper. I shut kitten Kali out of the room because she kept climbing on the UPC, into the window, onto the desk where daddy keeps his most toxic glues. The others are all waiting quietly for the late supper, which they receive when mommy finally quits the computer for the night. They are my heart, and sometimes my heartburn, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
until i got a cat of my own, i never thought they really had “personality”…boy was i wrong…cats are unique, but my act like the dog half the time

I grew up in a house full of cats. And now I have two of my own. They are my best friends. They greet me when I come home from work, hang out with me to watch TV and snuggle in my bed at night. Cats are the best.
Hmmm why do I love cats? I honestly don’t know – I just do! I am the crazy cat lady, always trying to convince my husband that we can adopt more (we currently have 4 living with us) Cats are just fun – it’s like a little herd of moose romping up and down our hallway every morning.
Cats are the greatest what wonderful companions. They have more love to share then most people and keep you entertained as well. I would not trade any of my three cats for the world

My kitty David was rescued off the street by a vets office then they placed an ad on craigslist looking for a good home for a special needs kitty–adopting him was the best thing I ever did– he makes my life better every single day.

Cats are fiercely independent, yet need lovin’ when they want it or else…
I’m sure my 3 cats would want me to read these to them lol.
How can a person *not* love cats, that’s what I’d like to know! haha. There’s nothing quite like your cat curling up next to you or stretching out on your chest.. especially when you’re having a bad day. We had a cat (unfortunately, he had to be put to sleep last year.. but we do have twelve cats still lol) who I called “boyfriend” because he would lay next to me like a human.. with his head on my shoulder and his paw on my neck or face. It was just the sweetest thing. I miss him

What is there not to like about cats? In addition, both sides of family are cat lovers/owners.
Cats are great! They have a special way to let you know they care about you.
Before our son was born we had M-A-N-Y cats. Our cats were our children, so to speak. Over the years they have gone on to KITTY HEAVEN. Last year our only cat mysteriously disappeared (he was an outside cat). This month we acquired a new kitten. Piglet is the highlight of our lives. He greets us when we come home and also first thing in the morning. He is very affectionate (we love that part). Having any pet is a great stress reducer (at least MOST OF THE TIME) HAHA.

We have 3 cats & they mean the world to us.
A loving cat can help you put the stress of the day behind you and give you numerous things to talk about from watching them.
They’re self-cleaning, adorable, cuddly, and they have an apathetic attitude.
They’re also cheap therapy!

I love cats. There has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had a cat — once I even had five! They don’t require the constant care and attention that a dog does.
