I’ve got a fun and inspiring book to giveaway here called Everything I Need to Know I Learned from Other Women. Here’s a description from the product review:
There is a long and sacred tradition of women inspiring other women — in overcoming seemingly impossible difficulties, in following dreams into uncharted territory, in rising to great heights of achievement, in finding spiritual and creative fulfillment. Everything I Need to Know I Learned from Other Women is a collection of short stories, personal anecdotes, inspirational quotes, and comic one-liners, all celebrating what women learn from one another. Author B. J. Gallagher also shares stories about the many women who have taught her — from grandmothers to politicians to shopkeepers. Topics include friendship, love, sex, motherhood, body image, and happiness.
It would make a nice gift for the female in your life or even for yourself. This giveaway will end next month so you could register and then get a nice post-surprise if you win!

Well I’m one that always believe that I can learn from others, learning from other women would be great because it is always refreshing to know that women all over the world go through the same struggles and challenges and we can encourage others no matter where we are.

Sounds like a great book!!!
This looks like a lovely book.
I have been fascinated by the idea of women mentoring women for years now and have enjoyed many relationships with maturer women. Finding a younger woman with desire to learn from an older is woman is more of a challenge, yet I see myself as someone who perhaps needs more seasoning before entering into the “leadership” role.
Thanks for offering the book… I have placed it on my Amazon wishlist, in case I do not win!

Oh what an interesting book. And it speaks the truth. This would be the right read for a woman who is well seasoned, hehe, who could possibly take more “pointers” from others.

Women do seem to be more sharing with their information than men, and this book seems very interesting!
I could use this – thanks
I have a freind this would be perfect for
Women are much more free with sharing information, and helping with verbal support, than are men, so I believe the premise of this book’s title!
