It’s top loading and has a wode mouth and is very, very sturdy. It seems to be a good size for a middle school student, might be a bit small for a high schooler, but it realyl depends on how much they have to carry.

Can never have to many backpacks! Especially sturdy ones. When I was a kid I wore my backpack out every year!
I have been dying to get one (well, two actually) of these. I love the side pockets for extra storage and I know that since it’s from Lands End, it’s going to last.

We buy new backpacks from Lands End about every 2 years or so. I’d love to win one this year!

We stood in line for 5 hours on saturday to get school supplies for my 2 grandsons and my 2 children, since they were having a huge school supply giveaway. It was 95% and grandson got sick, they were handing out water to the crowd because of heat. Needless to say we never got the backpack as they ran out. Over 4000 people showed up and they only had 350 backpacks. So entering here for better luck. Thank you for your time and effort.
