This is a great idea. My son isn’t old enough to use it himself, but I could use it to track how long each day I read to him, since I would like to spend at least 30 min a day doing that.
This would come in handy when we have to mark down how for school how many minutes we spent reading per day.
This sounds like a neat idea, Susan. As a children’s author, as well as a teacher, I’m anxious to see how one of these bookmarks works.

I can see lots of uses for my kids who can’t read yet - countdown for sitting at the table, for playing until time for bath, and maybe even time outs. Great invention.
My son needs this for his homework. I usually use the timer on the stove, this would be even better.

My son’s best friend has one of these and my son wants one so badly! This would make his day.
We have a 6-year-old who’s just learned to read. This would be a fun way for him to figure out how long it takes him to get through a page and a book, plus work on telling time.
I can’t even believe how useful this would be! It’s great for instrument practice times and recording minutes spent reading, and honestly, I think it would keep me on task as well.

This is a fabulous idea! I have an 8 year old that recently had been out of sick several days in a row. I feel she is now at square one again in third grade with her reading. This would be ideal for her. She not only loves little gadgets (what child doesn’t?) but she can actually be the one to be accountable for her our reading success! :o) I love that it comes in so many colors. Families with multiple children can customize to suit everyone’s needs.
