This is a fabulous idea! I have an 8 year old that recently had been out of sick several days in a row. I feel she is now at square one again in third grade with her reading. This would be ideal for her. She not only loves little gadgets (what child doesn’t?) but she can actually be the one to be accountable for her our reading success! ) I love that it comes in so many colors. Families with multiple children can customize to suit everyone’s needs.

I can’t even believe how useful this would be! It’s great for instrument practice times and recording minutes spent reading, and honestly, I think it would keep me on task as well.

We have a 6-year-old who’s just learned to read. This would be a fun way for him to figure out how long it takes him to get through a page and a book, plus work on telling time.
