Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I am married to a CrackBerry addict. For two years he used daily, often neglecting important things like yard work and refilling my wine glass. But I was an enabler. I would e-mail and text him constantly while he was at work, and knew it was the best – and often only way – to get a speedy reply.

But then I got an iPhone and began the process of switching many of our services to AT&T. The bundling reduced our monthly bills, and would benefit us more if I could pull Rick over from our former provider once his contract renewed in January. It was an opportunity for him to upgrade from his CrackBerry Pearl. He could have the new Blackberry Storm or better yet, switch to the iPhone. He was reluctant. After all, he was addict.
Just after he ordered his last stash – a new CrackBerry Pearl – I convinced him to give the iPhone a try. After all, we were an Apple family. We have a iMac, MacBook, iPod and my iPhone. We even own about $2 worth of Apple stock. It made sense for us to share our vices. I did eventually win him over. But, we never ended up returning his new-in-box, never-been-touched BlackBerry Pearl 8100.
The box says it comes with the phone, SIM card, battery & charger, headset, USB cable, BlackBerry Desktop Software CD (I believe it’s for Windows, so good luck if you’re an Apple user), Get Started poster, and reference guide.

After months of hanging on to it for no reason I thought I’d gift it to a friend. But all my friends are iPhone users. So, to you CrackBerry heads, it’s yours for the taking. Just leave me a charming comment by Thursday, April 23, and I’ll devise some random way to select a winner and announce it the next day, Friday, April 24.

I completely understand…I’m married to a crackberry. I just wish I had my own. But since I don’t work I can’t afford to get one right now. Maybe someday…but if I could win it that would just be awesome!
My poor little cellphone has lost it’s ooomph,(it’s battery has become totally incapable of holding a charge- it is now officially “charge incontinent”) and needs to go to the great cellphone graveyard… alas!
I would give your lovely new phone such a happy new home! I promise I would crochet and weave and knit all kinds of oh so chic and adorable cosies for it, so it would be a very stylish little phone! Very cool give away. If I win I could compete with my husband during meal times to see who could be the least connected with the family. Seriously though, it would be neat to have an updated cell phone with more options.
I have always wanted a Blackberry as I am totally addicted to my email but never been able to justify the cost. So please pick me! That way my husband won’t be able to complain about a data plan.
My husband and I are faithful crackerry addicts. He uses a Blackberry Pearl that’s slightly busted and not under warranty. We would love to win this.
Wonderful to do this. My curent cellphone is on it’s last legs, I’m afraid. My husband bought it a new batery but now the cover doesn’t close! I have a tattered piece of tape holding it on. I would get a new one, but how could I give up my crappy, hard to play cellphone games?

Hey! My husband and I (of just over a year now) just had our first child. We have one phone between the two of us (gives new meaning to the term one-way communication
). With being newly married and now new parents, costs of buying another phone to add to our T-Mobile plan don’t easily fit into our budget. My husband’s going to be renewing the contract here soon and it would be great to have another phone to have to communicate through the day. Thanks for the chance.

My husband has a crackberry himself that his work place provides. I meanwhile have the very most old fashioned phone made….no internet, no camera, nothing. Just push buttons and call. You can’t let me be so pathetic next to him can you? Help a momma out here!
I need one of these. My liitle cell phone is as basic as they come. All I can do is call and recieve calls, no extras no nothing. The poor thing has been dropped, stepped on and thrown. The cat attacked it and then flung it off the table. It took a licking but it’;s barely ticking and I need something new.
