With the threat of N1H1, strep throat and a host of other germs swarming around, it’s more important than ever to teach your children the importance of washing their hands. If your kid is anything like mine, getting him to sit still and sudsy up long enough to sing the ABCs and rinse thoroughly takes an act of patience. Airborne has found a clever way to make this job a little easier for both kids and parents – SquidSoap.
SquidSoap is the only liquid-soap dispenser with a specially designed pump that stamps a child’s hand with a vegetable dye. It takes about 20 seconds of good, thorough, sudsy hand washing for the ink mark to dissolve away. The result is a pair of guaranteed clean hands. The cool thing is that your child will find the process so entertaining you may have to take it away to get your child to stop! I know this for a fact – we are faithful users of SquidSoap.
A 4-pack of SquidSoap (8.4 ounces per bottle) sells for about $15.99 and can be found at various grocery and drug stores, or online at theConsumerLink.com.
I just so happen to have one never-been-opened box of the amazing SquidSoap that I would be happy to give away. If you’d like to try SquidSoap for free, just share a messy child story in the comments by Friday, September 4, 2009. I’ll select one person to win the coveted SquidSoap prize. (Only U.S. addresses, I’m afraid.)

I have two boys – 6 and 1 – so my house is always full of messes. I’d love to try this product. Thanks.
My daughter is 2 and my son is 4. Messes are no longer a question of if, only of when. They LOVE coloring, crafting, and being outside, so they are constantly having to clean up themselves. They are both in preschool, so they also come in contact with children everyday. This soap would be a god-send for my dirty little stinkpots!
noone has such space in house
My 4-year-old loves crafts so we end up with tons of messes. Last year, I left him alone for 2 minutes with some fingerpaints and told him to paint a face. When I came back, I discovered he had painted all over his own face! We go through lots of soap.
So many good mess comments and so few bottles of Squid Soap to give away. But this sounds like a winner to me.
When my daughter was learning to eat on her own, she took an entire bowl of spaghetti & dumped it upside down on her head. That’s a mess!
This looks so neat!!!
Once when my daugher was two, she was really tired after a long day out. We had pasta for dinner and she fell asleep in her highchair and fell face first into her pasta. She has sauce everywhere
my 22 month old would just love this to wash her hands. this would be a great product to try.
