So many of you left such wonderful comments on the giveaway post about 21 Simple Things You Can Do to Help Someone With Diabetes. Many of you entered because you had family members with diabetes, and wanted to read something that talked about the personal side of diabetes. I think that’s great, and it’s one reason I wrote the book.

A few of you also said you were diabetic, and wanted to read something that didn’t just talk about diet and exercise, but about the emotional issues that come with being diabetic. I applaud every diabetic out there because I know how tough it can be sometimes. So I was humbled and very grateful for everyone who entered to win my book. As usual, I used random.org to choose the winner.

And that person is: Selene! As you can see by the random.org graphic, Selene was our very first commenter! So never be afraid to leave the first comment, you have just as much chance of winning as anyone else.
Congratulations to Selene, and to all the rest of the friends and family members of diabetics, keep up the great work you do in supporting and understanding. It really means the world to you when you have diabetes.
