Brrr. How about a trip to California? Almost as good as the real thing, how about a virtual trip or an indoor camping trip? Some of my fondest moments were curling up with the family under a makeshift tent in the family room as we shared stories about what it would be like camping out by the beach or in the redwoods. I've got the winter blahs, myself! My solution is to force the regular routine and get some fresh air whether I feel like it or not. Monday was a holiday. Tuesday there was more than 6 inches of snow. And today the wind chill was around -33 so the buses wouldn't start. They are keeping busy with the Wii and Xbox, TV, computer, crafts, bored games and reading. Oh and harassing me while I'm working with an "I'm booorrrred." I think they are starting to get a little cabin fever. They can't even go out to play in the new snow because it's too darn cold out. I love snow, but I'm ready for Spring now.
