Women’s Health Contest: Win a $50 Target Gift Card!

My friends over at Capessa have made a very generous offer for Lively Women readers. They donated a $50 gift card to Target to give away to one lucky visitor. Here’s what to do.

Between now and 5 PM EST (GMT-5) on Monday, February 4, leave a comment on this post with 5 things you could do this year to improve your health. Not 3, not 4, but 5 things. I will put the names of all of the commenters into the list randomizer at Random.org and the commenter who ends up in the number 1 position on the third randomization will be the winner!

I am not eligible to win, but everyone else is! Each commenter gets one entry, so it doesn’t matter how many times you comment as long as you comment at least once. I will announce the winner and the decision will be final. It’s totally random, so how could anyone complain? The winner will be notified by e-mail and the gift card sent via postal mail.

So, leave a comment with 5 things you can do this year to improve your health, and be automatically entered into a random drawing for a $50 Target gift card!

    1. Drink more water.
    2. Make healthier eating choices (fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains) over my current choices of chocolate, bread, and pasta.
    3. Make good use of the new treadmill we just purchased.
    4. Try to eliminate Coke from my diet.
    5. Go to the doctor for the check-up I have been putting off for a bit now.

    1. Get back to doing my cardio on a regular basis.
    2. Eat more fruits and veggies.
    3. Get more sleep.
    4. weight train 3 times a week.
    5. Eat more regularly, lately I have been skipping breakfast.
    For a while I was doing very well with diet and exercise but when the holidays came it messed me up. Probably if I did not blog as much I would have more time for exercise.

    The 5 things I could do are:

    1. Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night.
    2. Exercise regularly.
    3. Drink more water.
    4. Decrease the amount of sugar & carb intake.
    5. Don’t skip meals.

    1. Taking one step at a time, as I have been, continue shopping organic, avoiding preservatives as much as possible, and processed foods.

    2. Eat 3 balanced meals, without skipping breakfast, and 2 healthy snacks.

    3. Do more voluntary exercise.

    5. Continue learning new healthy, whole food required, recipes to feed my family.

    1. Lose weight by eating healthier and exercising. Not just diet diet diet. A new lifestyle.

    2. Spend more quality time with my family. I think that will help me relax and relieve stress.

    1. Take a 20 minute walk 5 days a week
    2. Drink more water
    3. Cut out fast food (mostly french fries…)
