This poster has me remembering a phrase I heard (it was probably started around the same time as the poster came out) that fits very well with Junk Creation and junk creators.
“Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.” If more people lived life this way, I think dumpster divers would probably be out of business.
Anyone still live this way? I sure try, but it’s harder than you might think in our current society.
I live like this. I frequent the Treehugging Family blog, but I am green by reusing. I think it makes more of an impact to recycle everything you possibly can then to keep buying more things, no matter how recycled or organic they are.
No offense to Treehugging Family, I love that blog. From what I know of that author, she’s all for this line of thought. And I think your blog is going to be added into my favorites with hers, too.
