World Ocean Day

ocean06.jpg Yesterday, June 8th, was World Ocean Day and I have to take a post to salute Charlie’s natural element. You can read Carnival of the Blue at Blogfish. Is our ocean future is a glass half empty or a glass half full?

(A glass half empty or half full—–that sounds like a way to describe differing views of autism: As deficit, disease, and impairment; as difference and diversity.)

Thanks to Deep Sea News for pointing me to the Trilobis, a solar-powered, circular, “ocean-going coupe.” Maybe that’s the house of Charlie’s dreams……..

I’m getting beachsick just thinking about it.

  1. Kristina,
Hadn’t stopped by in last week or so. Love the new look. Also, congrats on doing the lecture series!!

  2. Joeymom says:

He could stand and watch the surf for days. (He’s my son, after all…)
