Would You Be a “Reality” Parent?

Apparently Octomom has signed for her own TV reality show. Jon and Kate appear to be splitting up. Because of the reality show experience?
What does this do to the children because their parents or parent desire to make everything about their lives public? Of course, there’s appeal in the money offered and other spin-off deals. Some parents would say there’s no difference making a living this way than going off to a job at an ofice, a store or factory.
However, are the parents sacrificing their kids for money in these “reality” cases? In a way, they’re putting their kids on the auction block for the highest TV show bidder and exposing their every move and word to the world.
Would you become a “reality” parent? For the money? The fame…or notoriety?
