Would you consider being a Surrogate?

I’ve been thinking about becoming a surrogate.
You see, one of my childhood best friends in this world is struggling to take her pregnancy to full-term. She’s suffered two miscarriages already and she’s not getting any younger and I know she and her husband are desperate to have children.

I know she will be a good Mom. She’s such a good daughter, sister and friend. Everybody loves her. Her husband and her are considering adoption or surrogacy. We got talking about surrogate parenting and I told her that I am willing to be a surrogate if she ever needs one.
I know there are a lot of tests I need to undergo to become a surrogate but I know in my heart that this is something I will do for this friend of mine. Like I said, my friend deserves to be a parent. I’ve known this friend of mine longer than I have lived in this world and if this is something I can do to make her happy, I will do it…because I love her.
What about you? Would you consider becoming a surrogate for a loved one if the need arises?

Absolutely. I have a friend who is on her 4th doctor, all of them telling her that she may die if she carries a pregnancy. I causally mentioned to her that if she decides on surrogacy, let me know. I loved being pregnant and would do it again and again, though I’m not sure I want more kids. What better gift can you give a person than a new life? It’s a beautiful thing.
