Would You Rent a PUMA?

It’s been the rage all over the news today, and I admit to being more than just mildly curious – is the PUMA by Segway really likely to become a means of transport for today?

I LOVE the concept!  What’s not to like about small, going green, and reasonably priced.  I like that it could part in no space at all.  I don’t even mind that it doesn’t go much over 35 miles per hour – because that’s just fine for an urban vacation.

I’m not sure that I love the open seating area (too cold or wet) or the feeling that I wasn’t protected from other crazy drivers.

What do you think?  Would you rent this car if you were on an urban vacation?
