With the promise of the new Xbox 360 Arcade System to be more family-friendly, comes a feature that gives an added feeling of security for parents. The console reportedly comes with a game timer, which allows parents and guardians to limit the amount of time that their children spend playing video games.

The time control feature is aimed to appease parents who might not be completely comfortable with their kids having access to a game console, considering the potential effects it may have.

The lower-priced Xbox 360 Arcade comes with kid-friendly games, such as Uno and Pacman, reports an article on GameShout. This is expected to make Microsoft a more competitive member of the console sales race this coming holiday season.

Look at the bright side parents, the Xbox 360 Arcade is cheaper than a full tank of gas!

parents need to learn to depeand onthemsleves for parenting…. not a machine, a game console… parents cant be their all the time, but their values can, if they are truly instilled in the child….
people, including children, will ALWAYS find a way around technology, it is the way of the world. As we advance so does technology, as technology advances so does the human condition.
