Yes, Gratitude is a Great Attitude

It’s that time of year again – at least in most Western countries. You know what I mean; Thanksgiving is past and Christmas is just around the corner. That means many meetings will choose Gratitude as a topic.
I used to hate those meetings! I’d squirm in my chair, embarrassed I guess, at hearing people list the things they were grateful for, like sobriety, letting go of an addictive behavior, their families, etc. etc. etc.
I was grateful for all those things, but somehow I just didn’t want to hear it. Today, my attitude is different. I actively watch for things to be grateful for – in fact, I often make a gratitude list in my morning meditation.
The thing that’s changed is that I’ve finally come to recognize that I get more of what I think about; when I have an attitude of gratitude, I get more things to be grateful for. Love, blessings and gratitude,

About 30 minutes after I posted this, I got this link on Gratitude – be part of the experiment!
