Yo Philadelphia! It’s A Solar Plant For You.

Soon, Philadelphia would be welcoming a new plant in their area. And yes, it is a solar power plant.

In a report, the city is going to have a solar power plant and it would be built by Exelon Generation Co. and Epuron LLC. Together, these two companies are going to create the plant and they would also be in charge of operating the whole deal. Of course, the energy that they would be able to collect would then be sold to those who may need such.

The plant is supposed to be built on 6-8 acres of land. It is estimated that some $8 to $12 million would be used to be able to build this plant that would be able to create one to 1.4 megawatts of solar power. Interestingly, the land that would be used for the plant is actually idle land so it is a good thing that that piece of land would be put to good use.
