Young Boy, Possibly Autistic, Found Alone

The Sheriff’s investigators of Fort Bend County (TX) are seeking the public’s help in identifying a 6-year-old boy who was found alone near Richmond (TX), as reported in the September 8th Fort Bend Now. The boy is four feet tall. He is believed to be about six years old and to have “a mental disability, possibly autism.” The boy has scars on his forehead and may have suffered a head injury.
The Fort Bend Now article does not provide further information about whether the boy can speak or why it is being posited that he may have autism. A $5000 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to suspects in the case.
