Young Bride-To-Be Missing

The week leading up to a woman’s wedding is an exciting, but stressful time. Annie Le, who is scheduled to get married on Sunday, disappeared from her Yale College lab on Tuesday. A surveillance photo shows her on the way to the lab and her belongings – including purse, money, credit cards, and cell phone – were found in the lab office. She has not contacted anyone to let them know where she is.
She’s been on my mind ever since I read about her disappearance yesterday. I can only imagine what her family, friends, and fiance are going through right now.
Police dogs have been brought in, but they’ve been unable to find any sign of her. Annie Le, 24, is a petite woman, 4′11″ and she weighs 90 pounds. My 6th grade daughter is bigger than that.
What happened to Annie Le? Did she walk away? Did someone abduct her? How come she didn’t show up on any of the security cameras when she left or was taken off campus?
Asked about the possibility of foul play, Yale spokesman Tom Conroy said Thursday, “There’s no evidence of it at this time.”
Le was excited about getting married and is energetic and conscientious, said Debbie Apuzzo, who works in the pharmacology department.
I hope that she’s found unhurt. I hope that she had cold feet and needed some time to think. I’d way rather think of her as rude and inconsiderate than think that she’s come to some sort of harm.

Sad & horrible that it turned out she was murdered.
I hope they are able to find & convict the person responsible.
I know. I feel so bad for her loved ones. I kept thinking about how tiny she was, smaller than Sarah even.
