Ive been struggling with bulimia for around 7 years now. Its kind of funny Im a cereal girl as well. I didnt think a lot of people binged on cereals haha.
mostly before my hospital stays I think I binged on Cereal, pie, donuts, pizza's, pizza pops, pasta(big time!)with tonss of cheese all different kinds. chicken burgers and double cheese burgers from mcdonlads. Mcdonalds breakfasts... sometimes when i had less money or was trying to prevent a binge(because it took too long tocook haha) id just make pancakes and tons of sausages and eggs and bacon and hash browns and make my own pancake breakfast sandwich. I really like those cheap frozen dinners, like fettucini alfredo or those ones with mashed potatoes and turkey and stuffing. sometimes id makes a few boxes of stuffing, gravey and mashed potatoes and itd be like soupy from all the gravey but soooo good.

..I guess after all the hospital stays im still binging and purging but my binges are alot smaller now. like if i go to mcdonalds i'll only get 4 jr chicken burgers and 2 apple pies instead of ordering 6 jr chickens and 4 dbl cheese burgers 2 large fries chicken nuggets 6 apple piesand 3 large diet cokes... it made me look less suspicious ordering more than one drink... then it looked like other people were eating too i guess... anyways... uhh im done.

That's interesting. I never plan my binges (well sometimes a few hours before). I used to plan what I ate all the time. Every food I ate had to be on a specific time and if I missed it by a minute I had to wait 30 minutues - an hour.

Take care, I hope you get better x

I wouldn't say I'm time obsessed with binging but definitely when purging. I always time myself.
A lot of my fave binge foods are chosen based on their cost, given that this disease has robbed me of so many thousands of dollars over 15 years.
-ice cream
-(imitation) oreos in a bowl of almond milk, eaten with a spoon. nothing like oreo purge!
-boxed macaroni and cheese with extra butter
-white bread, butter, peanut butter, and honey sandwiches
-cereal (peanut butter capt'n crunch)
-graham crackers microwaved with butter and frosting, eaten with a spoon
-quesadillas with gross amounts of cheese, smeared with butter
-pie and ice cream
Don't get me started on buffets!

Hi there

I just noticed your post. I have been struggling food for years, never understood why or even that I did. Just thought "I am one of those people who don't have a consistent weight", but in the last year or so came to realize I have a problem. I recently started going to Overeaters Anonymous - a support group for people with eating disorders/problems. It has been so great to be surrounded with people like me, who understand me and where there is genuine support from people who have been there and are in recovery. I don't know where you live - UK or US but if you are interested, google Overeaters Anonymous - they are worldwide and see if there is a number to call or a meeting close to you. You won't be sorry.

I have had bulimia really badly for 5 years now, and my binging follows a strict routine. It starts at 11:00 and goes on for two hours. In that time I always consume 4 white chocolate and raspberry cookies, 20 chocolates, a bar of galaxy chocolate, a tub of frosting and shortbread bites.
I follow an exact order in eating it, and time myself exactly to the second.
How wierd is that. I've never come across any one else that is as time obsessed when they binge or who always binges on the same things..

I haven't binged in awhile, but the last one I did was four days. I thought I'd just enjoy myself for one day before I went back to school but it turned into four days of anything I could find after my parents went to bed... mostly ice cream and oreos and pb&j sandwiches. I tried SOOO hard after to throw it back up, but I seriously don't think I have a gag reflex, because I stuck half my arm down my throat and I couldn't get anything back up. I usually don't try to throw up after, I just feel guilty and gross the next day. I'm planning on having a binge to end all binges sometime soon... I have a list of foods going that I never let myself have so I want to have them during the binge... but at the same time I don't want to do the binge, because I'm so looking forward to it and before I know it it'll be over, and I'm afraid I'll have loved it so much that I'll do it again, and I want to stop before this gets out of control. So messed up.

Wow ok I just found this site and it is so disgusting to read the logistical details that i consider but privately (ie strategies for getting things back up, eating an apple first, certain foods 'clumping')...
I mean I know I have issues, clearly I am not alone, and I feel as though they interfere with my social life etc... I would love to recover but I can''t put my life on hold. I feel like such a gross bitch.
