Your Friendly Neighborhood Thrift Store

If your local landfill doesn’t allow “browsers” (like mine doesn’t) you’re going to want to get cozy with your local thrift stores and garage sales (or your relatives that just can’t bear to throw their stuff out).
What types of things am I talking about getting from the thrift store and/or your neighbors? Well, that’s the beauty of the thrift store–there is no set thing you have to get, so keep your eyes open.
For instance, when you find something interesting–let’s say what’s left of an old seatbelt–normal people only see a useless chunk of something that can no longer provide its intended service. You, however, because you have read this post, will realize that the materials that created the seatbelt are still useable, if you put them to another use.
Its the thinking outside of the box that bothers most people, I think.
