Much happened over the past two weeks but I want most of all to think about Evan Kamida, who passed away on July 24, just a few days shy of his eighth birthday. Please keep his mother Vicki Forman and Evan’s family in your thoughts and prayers—-and to honor his memory, here’s a small and lovely thing to do: Please take a photo of flowers at a swingset and post it to this Flickr pool. Shannon Des Roches Rosa and Jennifer Graf Gronenberg have posted more information.
Thinking of Evan.

Kristina, thanks for linking to my post - I am only sorry that I didn’t think of it when I wrote the first post admonishing Savage but then again, it gives your work its due a bit more than if I’d folded it into that other post.
Also - I want to say again (because I mentioned it on my blog) that I’m so sorry we didn’t meet at BlogHer - I still can’t believe how many people I know of virtually who I didn’t meet in real life when given the chance!
Anyway - I hope it was a good conference for you.
I just submitted my photo to the group for Evan. Such a tragedy!!!
