Some days, I carefully cook healthy meals for the whole family.
Sometimes, I get carried away and reduce the fat and salt too much. Then, the kids feel they have to steal spoonfuls of butter off the serving dish or, they sample the homemade modeling dough at play group. Repeatedly.
Other days, I blow six points on a sliver of cheese cake. It was worth it.
Sooner or later, though, I have to learn all about balance.
