I thought everyone used a “bone bowl” when they ate chicken, dropping the skeletal remains of wings, breasts, and drumsticks into a communal dish to keep their plates from being cluttered, that every mother picked through their discards, muttering “There’s still meat on here. Look at all that meat!”, an gnawed on the cartilage, amazed to have raised such wasteful children.
