A Bottled Water Battle

It’s true that water given to babies to treat the occasional case of constipation should always be boiled and then cooled to kill any chlorine or possible residual bacteria in tap water. That said, did you know bottled water can actually be harmful for babies?

Most forms of spring or natural mineral water are untreated and the concentration of minerals may be harmful to babies and little children. Plus, you have to worry about the kind of plastic used to store the water as some bottles may contaminate the water with toxins and estrogen-mimicking hormones. I was reminded of these facts when Ratphooey posted about how bad bottled water is for the rest of us.
