A Note About Blog Contests

I love entering contests. I love winning contests. I love getting email messages from friends that provide blog content I don’t even have to think about. Here is a note from my friend Revka that combines these three loves.

I hope you are doing well. I thought I’d let you know about a contest my friend, Linda, and I are running from May 17th (today) through the 24th. We both have new blogs and decided this would be a great way to celebrate their launching.
Prizes:
- I am offering a free custom header from http://rsdesigns.wordpress.com
- Linda is offering the winner’s choice of either a $20 gift certificate from http://amazon.com or a selection of Brazilian goodys delivered to your door. (I’d love to be eligible to win either of her prizes!)
How to enter:
- Write a post about the contest and link to both Mama’s Coffee Corner (http://mamascoffeecorner.blogspot.com) and RS Designs (http://rsdesigns.wordpress.com).
- After publishing your post, go sign the Mr. Linky at the blog that has the prize you desire. If you are interested in both prizes, sing up at both blogs.

Blog contests are a cool way to get backlinks.
Even a modest prize of $20 in gifts certificates is worth an entry for many.
