A Pregnancy Meme

I was tagged by Marijke over at WombWithin.  I have 6 questions that I’m going to tag 5 blogs with. Let’s see what their answers are.

1. How did you find out you were pregnant?
2. How did you tell your partner (if you have/had one)?
3. Did you secretly hope for a girl or a boy?
4. Did you feel ready to have a child?
5. What bit of advice did you get that you hated?
6. What bit of advice did you get that you appreciated?

1  Which time? Most of the time it was just that nausea feeling, this normally happens immediately. Baby #4 I knew immediately, I felt it. Yes, I did even though others don’t believe you can feel when it happens there are some that can.

2  Yes I told him each time, the last time he just couldn’t believe me as I knew the first week. He kept saying it was wishful thinking but it was just in the tummy feeling. Know what I mean?

3  Each time we had names picked out so I secretly hoped for the sex of the name as we didn’t think of one for the opposite sex. We have two of each, so it’s perfect.

4  Yes and now 11 years later I still do but sometimes worry about messing up. But I hear all parents worry about it. I do know that my last few weeks I go through a “baby can’t be born yet, I’m not ready” and that’s with each one.

5  I always heard that the sickness would end soon. It gets better as the months grow. This was NOT true, it got worse for me.

6  I was told to go with my cravings, this turned out to be a good thing as your body lets you know exactly what it is you need.
