Are you a Baby Momma Competitor?

I recently read a book by Jenny McCarthy that had me turning each page until the very end. She just cracks me up and to be honest I never really watched anything with her in it until this past week. (I swear you’ll read a ton of books when you have no internet or telveision connection)
Here are a few questions for you:
- Do you find yourself ever staring at a baby and sizing him/her up? You know comparing him to your own by size.
- Ever find yourself comparing dates when your child took his first step, word, etc?
- How about those birth stories? Who was the quickest? Longest? Strangest? etc
I’ve found myself guilty at all the above and plus some. But I also find that this is a great way to make friends as well. I mean imagine 8 moms sitting in one spot and just sitting there for half an hour. One is bound to make the first question: Got any kids? What ages? This is when the competition begins but this is what opens the doors to those friendships as well. So while I do it, I also believe I do it at a not so competitive level. What about you?
Comment below: How are some ways you’ve made friends? If through questions of this nature how did it turn out? What were the questions?
