Why not do a kegel?
OK, just one more.
Just squeeze it.You’ve got to get those parts in shape.
According to study results I read about in Maclean’s Magazine, 27 per cent of women who delivered by caesarean have one of the following disorders: pelvic organ prolapse, a condition in which the uterus or other organs drop slightly out of their normal place, urinary incontinence, an overactive bladder or gas or fecal incontinence. 42 per cent of women who delivered vaginally have at least one of those disorders.
The study cautions women against requesting a c-section to prevent these problems.
- “You’re not free of pelvic floor disorders based on not having been pregnant or not having delivered,” says Dr. Emily Lukacz assistant professor of reproductive medicine at the University of California at San Diego who lled the study. She added that other studies have shown that obesity may also be an important risk factor.
So, give it another squeeze. Kegels to strengthen the pelvic floor are all you’ve got to protect you (and me) from the danger of peeing a little every time you sneeze.

Thanks for this laugh. I thought I might have to run to the bathroom, but I did a Kegel instead.
I should do more of them. Even those of us a few years out of the baby machinery should keep them up.
Exactly Christina. The last thing I want is to have to worry about bladder control every time I sneeze.
My allergies have not been helping in this department. Better do some kegels!!!
Yes. Altogether now.
1-2-3-Squeeze.
You’re good at this. You could be an online kegel coach. Every time I read what you write, I actually do it.
I wonder if kegelcoach.com is taken?
I agree! Kegels are the way to go… and they’re easy and really work. For a little extra push, check out http://kegelcoach.com/ For real results though you need to do them consistently like any other muscle you’re training! Like Kate says, why not do a kegel?!
