Eliza Ferree

Eliza is a wife and mother to four very active children, to which she can thank for her expertise in the parenting field. From whom she's learned that if something can be spilled, it will be spilled and if one of them gets it, they all are going to get it. Eliza loves being able to work from home, where she is always available for hugs and kisses from her rambunctious bunch. Granted she may not be the best cook, course that is what the husband is for right? As a blogger, Eliza writes what she knows - parenting and maintaining a successful family in these challenging economic times. How many of you hate lugging around those big diaper bags whenever you go out? I’m not talking going away for a few hours, I’m talking going down to the grocery store and bringing it with just in case your little one has an accident along the way. IMG: Pampers.com Yeah, that’s what I thought….I’m guilty of this too sometimes, lately though I just toss one diaper in my jacket and always have a thing of wipes in the car. But that can get bothersome sometimes too and Pampers thought about that. From now until December 11, 2009 Pampers is doing a special:  For a limited time with the purchase of any Pampers Big Pack (48 ct or larger), consumers can receive a small, lightweight diaper clutch that is just big enough... [Read more]

Babies Being Airbrushed for Magazines

How many of you love seeing those cover models? I know several love getting the magazines just to see who is on the front cover, some like to style after the models and the others wish to look like themNow how many of you are sickened at the fact that most of them are airbrushed in one form or another? IMG: Elizabeth Ferree I don’t know about you but I’d like to see the pictures as is, without all the touch-ups. It has recently come out that magazines actually airbrush babies. Yes, that’s right, not even babies can have a bit of extra weight on them. You thought teens had it bad.  To be honest I’ve never found anything wrong with a baby with rolls, in fact I find them cute to a degree. How can you deny one crawling around... [Read more]

Baby Born in the Front Seat

A North Carolina mother of two wasn’t exactly in any rush to deliver baby number three. She was so unprepared that she actually had a little more time, that is until the baby decided to come a little early and demanded an entrance.  IMG: Sxc.huMom, Gricel Mateo, had contractions and her boyfriend was going to help by driving her to the hospital but at a stop sign things went from just contractions to a baby crying.  Congratulations to the new mom, hopefully her other kids can meet their newest sibling soon. I could only imagine the fear, panic and of course the excitement the little family must’ve experienced. I remember being in labor and getting stopped at every red light and worrying the baby would come. For those that don’t... [Read more]

Babylegs Makes Socks too!

I’ve reviewed Babylegs products before and I’ve always loved them, actually all my kids have loved them. The girls mostly loved them as they were more arm/leg warmers and they just adored showing everyone at school. IMG: BabyLegs I liked them for Little A especially when he was at the crawling stage and they’d protect his knees from getting the knee burn most babies get from crawling. I did not, however, know that BabyLegs also created socks. Did you? Yes, BabyLegs also makes Baby Socks and they look so cute, even the ones for boys. They recently sent Little A two pairs to try out and I think he really loves them, enough that he keeps them on and the hubby doesn’t object because they look like something a boy would wear.... [Read more]
