Do you have one of these type of babies? By this I’m not meaning a baby that doesn’t cry, all babies cry, if they don’t there’s a problem. Some babies seem to have a fear of loud noises, for example: the crack of

thunder, a loud voice or even the sound of a train going by. These are very common fears for a baby/toddler and even an adult. But what I’m talking about is a child that just doesn’t seem to get that they shouldn’t do something, that it can hurt them.
Little A, the daredevil, as I now call him on Babylune is one of those toddlers. He will climb to the top of the cabinet and jump off. Hangs off my glass cabinet drawers and drops back. He’s tried climbing the table, however I’ve always stopped that. He’s ran down my stairs, jumped from the minivan and I know if given the chance he’d look over the very scary balcony. What is it with babies like this? Why do they not have fear? Each of these examples were things my own son has done, some occasions he’s got hurt and others not at all. Yet even the ones where he got hurt he still did it again. I guess he’s trying to do my father’s favorite phrase, “Get up and try it again.”
Do you have a child with no fear? How do you make them fearful of some things?
