Baby Born in Library

It was just after opening when a soon-to-be-mother entered the Denver Public Library and would soon be needing the help of the staff. Only problem was it wouldn’t be to search for a book or even check one out, but to help assist her in the birth of her baby. That’s right, the mom went into labor right there at the library. She hadn’t really intended to go to the library by the sounds of it, but felt ill outside and ran in to get help.

The baby girl was born in the lobby of the library, staff members shielded her to give her some privacy. I’m guessing this little girl will have a lifetime membership card to this library and hopefully will become a book worm herself.

Congrats to the happy mom!
