Baby Born Twice

Yes, I know what I said and NO this is not about those that do the reborn therapy for troubled kids. This baby was actually born two times. Want to hear more?

Little Macie Hope had a tumor growing that was the size of a grapefruit on her tiny body. Doctors knew she’d need surgery as soon as possible or she wouldn’t live. Quickly they decided to do a very rare and risky surgery.

The mother was cut very delicately and the baby was taken half out of her while doctors quickly performed their magic. Very carefully they placed her back inside the womb and sewed mommy back up. She went on growing inside her mother for another 10 weeks, at which time she was born again.

Is this story not amazing? It just shows how far technology has come. Macie is happy and healthy and she and her mom are both expected to be going home this weekend.

That is so freaky and amazing. When Geetle was still in utero, they found some cysts but we were able to wait until after she was born (1 month old) before they removed them.

I would have been a nervous wreck if they said they need to do surgery on her before she was even born.

Congrats to the family and the doctors.

No joke I would’ve been so scared and worried sick until my little angel was born. So glad they are bringing her home.

This is amazing! I can’t imagine how blessed the parents feel.

Wow what an incredible story. You hear of so many screw-ups in the health industry, and then you hear stuff like this. Amazing is an over-used word these days, but this is amazing in its truest form!

It is wonderful, ourwhole church prayed for her all along the way. They are our pastors at our church here in Laredo, Tx. All honor be to God for using those doctors.
