Babylune’s Birthday Bonanza Contest!

I ate too many sweets over the holidays, so I don’t really feel like cake. And really, I got enough enough in the present department too. That can only mean one thing: time for a party game.
Why?
Today is Babylune’s second birthday. Over the last two years, I’ve tried to write about all the major studies and issues surrounding recovery from childbirth and reproductive health, I’ve revealed quite a bit (perhaps too much) about myself and my family, hosted some competitions, participated in some contests and gotten to know you through your comments and visiting your blogs. But really, how well do we know each other?
The Babylune Birthday Bonanza Contest:
I’ve decided to post a little birthday contest with a little prize to find out how well you know this blog.
To make it even more fun, I decided to make the contest really, really hard:
Below, I’ve pasted seven images that have appeared in Babylune posts over the past two years. Your task? Six of the images are associated with three blogging events, post series or campaigns Babylune has held or participated in. Identify the three events and the two images associated with each of them. For a bonus point, identify the significance of the seventh image.
Leave your answers as a comment saying something like: image x and image y are from Sad, But True Speed Links for Saturdays. Image m and image n and image u are from Parenting Quotes of the Week, etc. Except, your entry should contain the right answers of course.
Determining the Winner:
The first entry that correctly identifies the 3 events, correctly places the six images with those events and identifies the seventh bonus image, will be the winner.
The Prize:
Since you need to identify ten pieces of information correctly, and this contest is in celebration of our second birthday, the winner will receive $2 for each correct answer to a total of $20.00 (US funds) payable by Pay Pal. The contest opens now and closes when someone has submitted all the correct answers.
The images:

b) c)
d) e)

When you’ve figured it out, leave a comment below to submit your entry.
The Piggyback Contest:
This contest was inspired by the Week 7 Challenge of Project Blog. Please head over to Project Blog’s new home at BCS Frenzy written by Allison Boyer and support me (my name is Kate) in the reader’s choice portion of the competition with your vote. If you leave a comment on the voting post and another elsewhere on the site, you can win a subscription to ESPN Magazine.

What a weird coincidence. I write celeb tots and me and Allison are well acquainted on the sports channel!!! I’m going to read this blog and come back to answer these questions!!!

“Six of the images are associated with three blogging events, post series or campaigns Babylune has held or participated in. Identify the three events and the two images associated with each of them. For a bonus point, identify the significance of the seventh image.”
I distinctly remember this as a question from the SAT test…
Jeanne- Be sure to get back before Cynthia figures it out.
Cynthia- You need all ten correct answers. The contest is still open.
Mark- Did you get it right?
Susan- Look at the question again. You weren’t asked which posts the images are from. The contest is still open.
Oh my, Mark, that was so mean.
Susan- Mark is harmless. I have a lot of smart readers. Incidentally, most of my readers are women. Coincidence?
Well, I do have to admit, with 3-year old triplets, I have a tendency to scan everything I read or else I’d never have time to read anything! Sometimes that lack of time comes back to haunt me.
Three year old triplets? Is your pregnancy and birth story online somewhere? I would love to read it/link to it.
Nope, not yet at least. I did inquire about starting a b5 blog about parenting multiples.
Why don’t you write a guest post about the six weeks after the triplets were born. I’ll post it here and you’ll have traffic and comment stats to back up interest in a parenting multiples blog?
Congratulations on two years Kate - that’s fantastic!
Kate, what a great idea! Is it fair to build off of the other contestants’ entries? I hope so!

A - your gift of chicks to your mother via Heifer International was inspired by Anne’s part in the December Generous Group Writing Project. The pic is actually of ducks.
Sorry Revka. That A is confusing everyone…
Well, I’ll take another look at it then.
“Mark- Did you get it right?”
–Of course not.
Sorry if I came off as mean…I was going for funny. Won’t be the first or last time that’s happened, I imagine….
Sounds like a good idea. I’ll send you an email, Kate.
I am so proud of you over the last 2 years. We have come a long way and I still feel like we are blogging sisters.
Hey it says:
For a bonus point, identify the significance of the seventh image.
If it’s a bonus, how can it be required?
A - one glass of Henry of Pelham Baco Noir
B, F - Eating the Alphabet Challenge
C, E - Project Blog
G, D - Generous Dec. Group writing
And we have a winner! Cynthia’s second entry gets the prize!
Very nice - but I have a proposition to make. . . look for an email from me.
Happy Birthday!
Thanks Kristine.
Happy Blog-birthday, Kate! Cool idea for a contest–and a Project Blog entry.
Jodie- I am all about finding synergies.
Congrats, Cynthia!
