I always love hearing the “happy ending” type of stories and I’m sure most of you do too, so here is one. Karen Morrisroe-Clutton, a new mother had been in a coma for 5 weeks when nothing seemed to be working.

She even states that she considered just giving up, that she wanted to die. This isn’t much of a surprise as I hear many that struggle with an illness such as this end up not wanting to suffer any longer.
DailyMail quotes Karen as stating:
‘I knew that I was dying,’ she said. ‘I confess that at one stage I gave up. Frankly, I wanted to die.
Even after tons of tests, medications and other treatments. But nothing seemed to work, that is until her husband, Paul brought in a video he’d made of their little boy (11weeks old). The video had tons of pictures of their baby Ollie and even gurgling sounds that he made. If you have a baby, you’ll surely know what I’m talking about. It was at that point that she knew she had to fight, this little boy still needed his mommy.
Karen, for those that don’t know, came down with food poisoning bacteria E.coli after eating a veggie burger at The Llay Fish Bar. She wasn’t the only one that came down with it, there were three others, one of which is a 3-year-old little girl. Karen is expected to make a full recovery and I think she’ll be living every moment as if it were her last. But at least she’ll be able to watch her little boy grow up.
Isn’t a baby’s voice simply magical?
