Birth on the Median Strip

I just love these birth stories so I have a few to introduce ya’ll to just in case you didn’t hear them this week. This one is about a little girl that just didn’t want to wait to get near the hospital and it sounds like she’ll be the one wanting attention for the rest of her life. Why? Simple she was born smack dab in the middle of rush hour. Where? The median strip.
Lilian Bui, 37 years-old, realized she was experiencing labour pains at 7 a.m. and headed to the Mercy Hospital. Only problem is her daughter was NOT going to wait to get here. Her husband and 2-year-old son was in the car as well.
When Lilian realized she wasn’t going to make it another 5 minutes she called ER and told them. The paramedics got to the house and loaded her into the ambulance, but she still wouldn’t make it. As they approached the Craigieburn Bypass the baby gave her momma that URGE TO PUSH feeling and the ambulance quickly pulled over and assisted in the birth of little Tammy.
Talk about one fast delivery and it was one that everyone on the medium that morning got to see. Hopefully they were nice enough NOT to look. The father and son did miss the delivery as they were following behind in a taxi. But they got to meet baby Tammy moments later.
