Breastfeeding Medicine Journal

I am sitting at my desk with a slightly damp shirt again. I’ll go get changed in a minute, but the conditions are exactly right to point you toward Cotton-Picking Days, the personal blog of geneticist and B5 Blogger Hsien-Hsien Lei. Hsien’s latest entry concerns the launch of Breastfeeding Medicine Journal, a refereed scientific journal about lactation and all related subjects.
The breastfeeding and bottlefeeding communities have become more divisive, defensive and militant in recent years. According to stories I have heard from other mothers, this often leaves doctors and patients, who have different information from different sources, facing each other down over their children’s health and nutrition. I welcome the launch of this journal in the hopes that everyone concerned with children’s and mothers’ health will be able to bring perspective and reasonable debate to the infantfeeding communities.

Well put, Kate. If I could perhaps point someone to a definitive article, they’d cease to argue with me.
I should hope so. Although, I find the longer a doctor has been in practise, the less the read.
