Breastmilk urgenty Needed in China

September 27, 2008 by Eliza Ferree

It was only yesterday that I announced PETA wanting to get Ben&Jerry’s to use breastmilk in their ice cream instead of cows. While many of you find this disgusting and would never eat it ourselves, let alone have our children eat it knowing it comes from someone else’s breast. But some are urgently in need of milk and it isn’t for ice cream or milkshakes but for survival. With the whole tainted milk (formula) scare over in China babies are going hungry or being supplemented with juice and water.

It seems now they are asking those that can to be a breastfeeding nanny so these babies can get the milk supply they urgently need. For those that do it they can get paid to supply breastmilk, these aren’t just small pay. Some of these women are making more money than they would in a factory. Plus it helps these families that can afford a breastfeeding nanny.
