California Banning BPA Baby Products

August 13, 2008 by Eliza Ferree

After the recent scare on baby bottles and other items that had the BPA alert California decided to take no risk, they are banning ALL BPA baby products. So if you were debating you won’t have to anymore in California, they’ve decided for it.

Now California hasn’t officially banned them yet, but there is a bill and if it goes completely through (which I see it happening) this will make the first state to actually ban baby products that have Bisphenol A in their products. Course they aren’t the only ones banning it, ToysR Us and Wal-Mart have also planned on weeding them out, but it might take a few more months. In the meantime you’ll have to watch which ones you get but soon there will be no worries. Do you have any BPA products? Are you worried?

I wonder why they wait? If it’s dangerous either get the message out to EVERYBODY and pull that crap off the shelf. Geez. What matters more – business or babies??

By the way, how are you? I haven’t talked to you for a few days.
