Car Sold for Drugs, Baby Left in it

This one sounds like something you’d read about on Parents Behaving Badly, but I just had to share it. First an amber alert for an 18 month old little boy, later it would be reported she was safe, however where she was found would turn the entire case.

A man (Joshua Barnes) borrowed a car from a mother in Florida after they went to a party together, but the mom forgot her little darling was still inside the car. Maybe the baby was asleep, I’ve no clue but still. He drives off and stops at another house where he goes in but leaves the car running. People what happens when you leave a car running with no one inside it? Someone actually STOLE the car.

The guy that stole the car is David Carver, he takes the car and then sells it when he decides to trade the car. The trade was for drugs, yes he actually sold the car he was just stole for drugs. Only one problem, the car was still carrying this baby in it. But at some point he ditches the baby in front of a Longwood home. Not to worry though the baby was quickly found and brought to the hospital, David was arrested as well.

This guy, David, left the tiny tot and his car seat on a street in front of a house where he was found walking around and soaking wet in the cold. A nearby neighbor found the boy strolling the street and the empty carseat and ran out to help him. She wrapped him in a blanket and called police.

Currently the child is in the custody of CPS.  I have know clue if the mom, Julinia Moreno knew her friend would take her car with tiny Jamir Worgs to was a drug house or not. Hopefully if she gets the baby back she’ll think really hard about this again, which I’m sure she will and she’ll probably never let Jamir out of sight, let alone loan out her vehicle.

Mom parties with a friend

child left in car (hopefully sleeping)

friend borrows car with baby inside

leaves car on outside of home

car is stolen and sold for drugs

baby is dropped off at Longwood home and found

arrests are made
