Has anyone been watching updates on the Casey Anthony case? I only have a minute left but I read there have been charges made finally. So maybe we’ll hear more about this soon. I do know there have been protests in and around her family home and her grandfather got a bit out of hand the other day, can’t really blame him though, he’s so broken hearted. I agree she killed Caylee. I don’t think the grandparents knew or covered for her. I think Cindy is delusional but I do feel bad for both her and George. Really for George more than Cindy. Have you read the interview with George that was just released this week? I think the interview was done on July 24, so not long after they discovered Caylee gone. I cannot imagine what he is going through. KC though is another story. I don’t think she has any remorse, expecially the comments yesterday that law enforcement will not break her. Nice. Explains a lot. She wanted to be free of Caylee so she killed her. She wanted to punish her parents, mainly Cindy so she hides Caylee. What a psycho, she should have just let Cindy and George adopt her, her mother would have kept letting KC do what she wanted and not work as long as she had Caylee. Scarry. I don’t even know about Lee, I think the shocking conclusion to this whole horrific event will be the announcement that he was Caylee’s father. Eww….

Where can I find a copy of the interview with George. I bought “PEOPLE” magizine in July when the story first broke, but have’nt really read much more, I watch Nancy Grace when I can. And when did this rumor of her brother Lee being the father of the baby? Does she not know who the father is?

I have been following this story from day 1 – I watch everything I can – I read all the blogs. I check the Florida newspaper website everyday to find out all the details as they unfold. If you read all the blogs on this site – you will definitely learn all that was said about Lee possibly being the father to Caylee and also that Casey claims the father is dead. You can also check out this website. They have the updated news everyday on what’s going on. There is so much to this story that if you didn’t watch it closely from the beginning, there is so much to catch up on. I just want her to PAY PAY PAY for what she did and her condescending attitude. Who does she think she is?

No, KC says she doesn’t know who the father is. The rumor about Lee being the father is old. I am not sure where it started but I have read it on just about every forum. Nancy Grace has even touched on the subject. The newspaper websites have been the best. I read all of the most recently released documents last night and the interviews with George were very enlightening. To me, he comes across as honest and helpful to the search. As did most of Casey’s friends. It seemed as though Cindy didn’t really want to have the baby’s father in the picture from the start, and I don’t think she wanted to share Caylee with him or another set of grandparents. I know that most of the women I have known would want the father of their daughter’s child in the picture and definitely for child support if for no other reason. One of my friends lost her fiance’ while she was pregnant , and his parents made sure that she got his social security for the child and maintained a close relationship with the baby all through her life .

I think GOD took Caylee, to hold her close and protect her from her own mother. I truely believe that, if she was still alive can you imagine her life growing up with that entire disfunctionaly family. Honestly, she’s better off in Heaven then with KC. Sorry if that offends anyone but really look at this womens life, and Cindy and George are no better. There the enablers.

Somewhere in all the info Casey had tod someone , I believe the police, that the father was someone named Eric that she knew since grade school. Supposedly he was killed in the car accident in Tennessee or somewhere. (how convenient), and now his family is allegedly (according to her), living overseas or something.
I highly doubt Lee is gay. If he is, it looks like his current or latest GF doesn’t mind.
I was checking out some other websites today and read that Casey is an avid fan of CSI. It also said that a Det. Torres on that show is played by an actress names Zenaida Gonzales.

i have to agree w/both you. I think she did wanted to be free of caylee so she can have her own little party life and have no responsibilty….she needs to be in jail for life and she needs to step up and admit what she did. i have heard she doesnt even know who caylee’s father is.
after reading about Debi’s CSI connection theory I started searching and finally came up with the link below to an actress known as Zenaid Fernando Gonzalez who has been both an actress and producer. She appeared in an episode of LA Forensics in 2007. hmmm this could be where Casey chose the name figuring no one in FL would make a connection. Since she had long used the name Zani, that could have been explained away by xanex as others have said. Once she was pinned down, she remembered the name from the show. I wonder if it aired again about may, June or July of 2008 on some channel in FL.

I have not heard anything about a towel being found in the park. I have searched all the blogs and can’t find anything on that. Wouldn’t that just be another piece of evidence for the prosecution?
And my comment to Jodi. I hate to have to agree with you about God taking Caylee but to be honest, she’s better off with him than with her psycho mom. We have no idea on the extent or for how long that baby was suffering. If Casey was using cholorform to sedate that poor child – how do we know what effect it had on her. Maybe she was feeling ill all the time – who knows. I know in my heart that she is gone and it makes me extremely sad for her but the fact that the search efforts have failed makes me very angry. I just want justice served and finding the body would prove everything to finally put an end to that bitch sitting in jail. I’m praying that she cracks during the trial – especially if she cops a plea bargain and tells the whole truth and then pays the hefty price. Death is too good for her anyway. I’d rather see her rot in jail the rest of sick twisted life.

I think heaven is better place for her then with that crazy mother of hers. Can we even call her a mother. Any woman can give birth to a baby but not every women can be a mother. I just can’t see KC caving and telling the truth. She seems the type that if she keeps telling herself that Caylee was kidnapped then that is the truth in her twisted mind. Rotting in jail to me isn’t enough either. I mean think about it, she gets 3 meals a day, someone does her laundry, she had a place to sleep, a library, a workout room, she can have a radio, and tv in her cell. That’s doesn’t sound to harsh to me…….now, if she couldn’t have any of these things and no visitors, no air conditioning or heat that would make me feel better. I want jail to be he living hell………day after day… she’s a baby killer

The website websleuths.com has come up with some pretty interesting theories to where Caylee’s body is if indeed she was put in the Econ River. When I read their comments I thought of you with your expertise maybe you can contribute.?? Lenard Padilla has said he will put 12 more divers in the water if the public has interest. There is a poll on websleuths.com. This morning the results were 376 yes, 30 no. Anyone can vote…

The only reason I want to see her in jail for life is because they will treat her like the total piece of shit that she is. Let some of those other crazy women get to her. Hope she fears for her safety 24-7 – just like poor little Caylee did. I only wish she could be put in the Women’s prison here in CT. From what I’ve heard – it’s the nastiest, meanest women’s prison around. And the guards could less whether or not the girls kill each other. Now that would be a good punishment for her – if there is such a thing.

I have to say from my skim reading of several threads it looks like they are really breaking this down much more than can be done here. It is quite and operation with about every bit of known information in the case broken down and catagorized neatly.

Moss park was wrong, they were headed to the church where the websleuthers figured out she may be located. It is by or right next to Blanchard Park, has a pond and KC’s cell phone pings add up to that location. I guess they are trying to do it without the media or Anthony’s finding out. Cindy and George are trying to get an injuction against Leonard Padilla and Murt so they cannot search anylonger. Kid Finders is involved in trying to stop them from searching (doesn’t make sense does it) some people have investigated Kid Finders and they have approx. 112 suits against them for mis use of charity. Websleuths is really great. Very organized. They must have several moderators because they are continually opening new threads and filing info so it is easier to find. It is kind of confusing for me as a new member trying to keep up with so much information. I like this site because it is easy to follow… There is another place at websleuths.com called the parking lot where the moderators will ask people to comment if they are not staying on topic. Strange. I have belonged to this group for over a month and still cannot find my way to the parking lot. I am interested in hearing your opinion, so far, that I have seen there are no professional CSI’s there. Let me know what you think, I hope the links work…

I did see Casey Anthony is protesting the vigil. What’s everyone’s take on that As for the injucntion I hope they don’t, this man is paying out of pocket to find this little girl. I do hope he finds her and puts this all at rest. I’ve read Casey’s lawyer states once the true story is out everyone will understand. Sorry, don’t think any of us will for if she is dead or missing why not just come out and say it and not have everyone worry about where she is.

I think that the way that the police are handling this is absurd. Everyone knows she is guilty and the fact that they are taking so long is making me wonder what kind of society we live in today when a mother can MURDER her child and go out on spending sprees with other peoples money so smugly and know her daughter is dead but show absolutey no remorse NOT EVEN A SHRED what jury out there would look at the evidence that they have now and not convict her with the death penalty. I have been reading all your messages and glad to see we are all on the same page but to ken you are retired CSI so can you tell me why they cant take the evidence now and charge her with capitol murder do they really need anything more than her actions on camera following the first few days of her daughter missing not to mention the fact that she never report anything to anyone while she so casually hoared around???
Aaron, to answer your questions about evidence I have to say the police need as much as possible considering idiots out there are still involved in hysteria and making repeated sighting reports. Just one that seems half credible, that hasn’t been fully investigated and eliminated, could sink the whole case as defense cites possibility that she is still alive. Remember the original OJ case always. DNA was introduced for one of the first times in major case and the amount of evidence was overwhelming yet a jury let him go based on slick defense games and misdirection. All the ducks have to be in a row and the more the better. This case isn’t a slam dunk for sure. We have all watched daily news reports and kept abreast over the last months but a jury will have a narrower view of specific evidence over a condensed period to base their decision on. Imagine all we’ve seen and heard condensed into a few hours of evidence repeatedly challenged and interrupted by attorneys and judge and the information loses its continuity that we enjoyed.
The DA has repeatedly released info and reports for a couple of reasons. Their first reason is to get public involved and perhaps stimulate more witnesses and phone tips as the public sees and hears things that might jog their memories. The second is to counteract anything ahead of time that defense could proffer as viable positions. It’s designed to put pressure on Casey and her defense team so that perhaps they just decide to plea bargain since their defense options dwindle with each new item released. The primary defense will still be no body and Casey’s story of kidnap and that Caylee is still “possibly alive” that can be enough to sway nervous jurors if repeated often enough in court. Reasonable doubt is hammered away until they begin to think any amount of alternate possibilities is enough for them to acquit.
It’s usually the defense seeking public opinion influence in cases and affecting jury pools. The DA in this case is being proactive there and shutting down defense possibilities with open release of facts and statements by witnesses. Of course police always hold back a certain amount of evidence from the public. This is done so that any witnesses or involved parties who come forward can be challenged and verified by the facts known only to police.
They are also stalling in some areas still hoping little Caylee turns up so forensic tests can be done that would help solidify their case. No matter how much info we have and believe so far, a jury is much more inclined to listen to the defense and be fearful of making a mistake than we are. There are also many on juries who shouldn’t be there. Some are for conviction from the start and that’s wrong but there are always some who just can’t make up their minds or who just hate the legal system, perhaps are liberal and will do anything to let a suspect off etc. Those are more dangerous in obvious cases of murder because they can hang a jury quickly no matter how much evidence is presented for conviction. A hung jury is a win for defense counsel since it will cost so much for another trial that Das often move to dismiss or at least plea bargain way down on charges rather than retry the case.
Think about the last election where somehow after a couple of years of daily public disclosure of all candidates positions 7 percent of the public still hadn’t made up their minds as to who to vote for. Put that same indecisive 7 percent in a jury pool and you come up with a couple out of the twelve who will struggle with any amount of evidence to convict. Perhaps its just human nature but a lot of it is based on how people as a whole have been less and less responsible for actions in their own lives, are less inclined to be able to reason, lower education standards are among those who put decisions off or make repeated wrong ones. Take them to trial and you have a menu for disaster so the more evidence the better so that even a moron could make up their mind. Sadly, often, the morons still cant and killers walk free.
To answer your other question about Casey’s parents, well they are enablers and the more this case progresses, the more we see how Casey became who she is. They aren’t the only ones. It happens every day where kids get trouble in school and parents rush to blame teachers and beg to give their kids one more break, again and again and again until the kid learns quickly that he or she can do about anything and the parents will support them. They want what they want and if their parents support that, then they think its stupid not to take what they can. It makes sense to them and they become sociopaths with no guilt and no thought of any goal other than one that serves their own interests. Its one thing to want a fair trial for your loved one, its quite another to do everything in your power to get them off when evidence is overwhelming as to their involvement and guilt. While I initially felt empathy for the Anthony family, that has been replaced by disgust as I watched them try to protect Casey and continue to deny any evidence presented as to Caylee’s death or Casey’s involvement. There is no convincing them and they are beyond reason and beyond my pity at this point.
Bottom line, don’t be surprised if Casey gets off but understand that like OJ, Vandersloot and so many others, their lifestyles, personalities and sociopath tendencies will bring them back to court again and again and they will at some point pay the price for the lives they lived.

FYI Murt is doing a live feed today again from Blanchard Park. They have 40+ divers that came in from all over, Black Water Divers. Another group of divers just arrived from Erie, PA. They are also waiting for some guys from Florida DNR, and Florida Alligator World, they have many alligators and turkey vultures in the area where they are diving. The last time they searched in this area the divers stired up something that attracted the vultures and alligators.

Update, the divers found a bag of toys and what seems to be little bones, like fingers and toes, weighed down with bricks. In the bag was shamrock. KC collects shamrocks. The Orange Co. Sheriff and CSI are there now.

2:44 PM ET – Is there a break in the case of missing toddler girl Caylee Anthony? Reports emerging bones and baby toys have been discovered at Jay Blanchard Park, one of the areas of interest in the search for Caylee Anthony. Police and FBI on their way to the scene. Wow – talk about an extremely emotional day yesterday. I couldn’t take my eyes off the live video from Murt at Blanchard Park. I thought for sure they finally found Caylee. I had so many emotions going on from being elated to sad to angry with that whole family, etc. etc. What a disappointment in the end. And I only say that because I (like all of us) want them to find Caylee so bad not only so the community and that baby can finally RIP but so they can prove without a doubt that the murderer is her cold-hearted mother and she won’t be walking – that’s my biggest fear. Very, I was in the live chat for a while, more towards the ending. I’m homemeom3 when I’m in there. I really hope they find Caylee soon, and am kind of glad it wasn’t her in a ziploc bag.
i think it is so sad about caylee, but casey has strangled her, she used chloroform to knock her out and then she took caylee in the woods and set her little body on fire. i also think that george and cindy should be held countable for with holding evidence like george and what he said about the white garbage in the trunk of casey’s car and cindy for not giving investigators caylee’s hairbrush. george and cindy knows more they are letting on. lee, on the other hand has left town so he could get little caylee’s remains and take them out of the country and dispose of them cause he knew that equa search was getting real to where casey had originally had buried caylee. he figured. if they couldnt find her body, that casey would probably spend some time behind bars and not given the death penalty. if you asked me, george, cindy, casey, and lee are all involved in this case somehow. i think they all know where she is caz ive not seen none of them shed a tear but once when casey was put in jail for child neglect and other charges. casey is as guilty as the day is long.
I just can’t believe that Cindy is hiding things evidence, I guess she knows Caylee is dead and she should be charged too. These pictures of sighting of Caylee, if I was those little girls parents I would come unglued! I have been following this case since day one.I have always said that both great grandpa and little caylee looked terrified in the video(which i think was taken father’s day,the day before caylee went missing) it’s as though she was being threatened and it seems after a few seconds the threats stop because caylee becomes relaxed and she reaches up and kisses her great grandpa as though she is sayin “thank you for protecting me pa pa”. today i was watch ing in session where they were playin the tapes from the jail and casey asked about the family and cindy said grandma is not doing well at all you know casey? i picked up on vibes from the looks on cindy’s and casey’s faces. i know caylee’s great grand parents are elderly but i wish they could be questioned because my gut feeling tells me they know something. i am praying for the day casey gets what is coming to her. i despise the wench.

I’m sure Babylune is going to be inundated with comments in the next few days/weeks. As it should be. We’ve all been very emotional involved in this case since day one. And I’m sure most of you will agree that our biggest fear (besides finding Caylee dead) would be that Casey would walk away from this. But now (and I do believe it is Caylee) that the body has been found, I’m hoping they can prove without a doubt that she was murdered by no one else but Casey. And the best form of satisfaction to all of us would be to have Casey finally break down and admit what she did.
So my one question to you Ken. Is it possible to detect chloroform in skeletal remains that have been submerged in water for that length of time?

I understand that ” Mommie Dearest ” Casey, needed a sedative after Biaz told her the news about the finding of a Garbage bag containing the skull , & bones of a child by a Utility Worker . OH I BET SHE DID ! There’s going to be a lot more then sedatives, that Bitch will be needing when all those 7 bags of CSI evidence are gone thru with a fine tooth comb !
