Casey Anthony Update

Some of you have emailed me asking why I don’t write about Casey Anthony anymore. First, no I haven’t forgot about poor little Caylee, in fact I can’t wait to write the judges decision at the end. As for those non-believers, I’m sorry you don’t believe she did it and I know there is no way of convincing you

They are actually at the courthouse today so there should be even more news later on. But for now here’s the latest and if you know of more please leave a comment letting others know.
- Judge Stan Strickland is the one proceeding over the case and has just refused to meet with Casey’s defense team in private. They wanted to meet with the judge about their strategy for her, they wanted it to be kept a secret. Not to worry though, that didn’t fly. Why didn’t it fly though? Ummm, Jose Baez, Casey’s attorney actually filed the request in the wrong case file. ooops. The judge feels either way there is no basis for this and did not grant it anyways.
- Casey’s Friend questioned by Jose Baez- Casey’s longtime pal, Kiomarie Cruz was questioned by her attorney about selling her story to the highest bidder. You may recall she sold it to the National Enquirer a while ago. She was scheduled to meet this week. I can’t see how interviewing Kiomarie would ever help Casey’s case now. This is the pal that stated when they were younger they’d go to the woods to bury their dead animals and this was the place they found Caylee Anthony’s body. Maybe they are trying to see if they will be able to make her a non-credible witness. Who knows. If she does do the stand, which of course she will, it’ll only hurt Casey. (works for me) Course it seems her lawyer (Casey’s) is trying to state that Kiomarie’s story is bogus. I tend to lean more toward Kio since her story seemed to be very accurate and even found a body. He is claiming Casey never wanted to GIVE UP her child and even if she did the grandparents would’ve taken little Caylee. I guess this would make one ask, “Okay so why didn’t they? Why was she murdered by her mother?”
- A ton of other key players in the case will be interviewed throughout the week by Jose Baez. Some of those players are jail officers, the investigators and a few others.
- It seems no one is allowed to visit Casey Anthony at the moment. There were rumors that there was going to be a funeral with just the family so they could mourn Caylee together, but that’s just a rumor according to the corrections department.
“The Orange County Corrections Department has received no requests and has no plans related to any ‘in-person family visit’ with Casey Marie Anthony. Our agency has no intention of providing any special treatment for inmate Anthony or any inmate in our custody.”
- RUMOR: Casey Anthony on twitter. This was not true, according to the jail they are NOT allowed to use cell phones, internet, etc. This is kind of funny seeing that someone thought she was on the net reading all the stuff about herself.
“1. Inmates are not allowed access to the Internet or cellular phones.
“2. Attorneys cannot bring mobile phones into the jail.
“3. While an attorney is allowed to bring a laptop into the jail with an air card, inmate clients are not allowed to use it or touch it.”
- Lee Anthony did get a paternity test, so guess I wasn’t the only one curious. The test proved he is NOT the father of Casey, his sister’s, baby.
- Around the 18th the State announced the subpoena list that will be used in the Casey Anthony trial. Some of those names are: Cindy & George Anthony (her parents), Lee Anthony (her brother), Tony Lazarro (ex-boyfriend), Zenaid Fernandez Gonzalez (is there actually a babysitter), Shirley Plesea (her grandmother), Kiomarie Cruz (her BFF), Brian Burner (neighbor), Employees that worked at Mount Dora nursing home and many others.
- Lot for sale where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found. I don’t blame the people I wouldn’t want it either after someone finding this precious little girl on it. The bounty hunter, Leonard Padilla is rumored to want to purchase the land. He has offered $50,000 for the land.
What do you think will happen with any of the above? Do you think she should go to prison?
i saw the parents on the Nancey Grace show,i laughed at both of them ,talk about RUDE an IGNORANT,both were hostile and tried desperately to make a fool out of thee attorney and it back fired BIG TIME,Every one knows that Casey is guilty,its sad for the whole family,casey because she wanted to party and now she can party all she wants in PRISON,WARE SHE BELONGS,TILL she gets death,She will meet her maker below,
everyone knows casey is guilty.EVERYONE.so why is it taking so long for her to get the death penalty.i seen the parents of casey on nancy grace.no wonder casey is like she is,even the parents cant tell the truth.you seen that.they said one thing on the 911 call and then when they were questioned they said they didnt say that.i think this whole family needs help BIG TIME HELP.the problem with casey being in jail so long is that you the tax payers have to pay for it.i dont know why they just dont get this over with.
Her maker below will probably think she is his replacement.

As a paralegal myself and based this inmates’ attitude toward her missing child. Yes, she should go to jail. Looking at her pictures in court, she sits there with this “I will get away with this attitude.” She will get the death penalty. But seeing how she is, before the sentence is handed, she will probably realize her impending death and do something that will put her in a mental facility for a while. This is all the result of parents who cover for their children’s petty crimes and then this child moves on to capital crimes thinking mom and dad will cover for me AGAIN! I have 2 grandchildren myself, and because of this case, my kids make sure my grandkids call me at least one day a week. I call them as well. My kids know that I would do to them worse than any courtroom. NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER FOR THIS NONSENSE!

she did not do it ok i for afact she is not guilty
I agree, courts have gotten to relaxed on this type of stuff. It is obsvious she did it and it didn’t take months to do it. Here we are making sure she is taken care of and comfortable in a nice jail cell, she didn’t even have this type of care towards her own daughter. Very sick. Yet her parents seem to be standing behind her, which makes it worse.
I feel sorry for her parents, they know deep down that their daughter did this tragic thing. but not only have they lost their granddaughter they lost a daughter also. Alot of people dont understand why she just didnt give her to her parents or up for adoption.. I feel like the poor little girl was what casey held over her parents heads and if she didnt have her then they wouldnt have done as much, but on another she was jelious of her daughter too. anyway u look at it, its just sick!! someone needs to tie her up and do the same to her!!!
