[...] Like most people, I got serious in September. I vowed to stop using celebrity mothers to increase traffic. Instead, I focussed on the very real issues of birth control, vitamins and Britney Spears. I also went back to work and left a trail of breast milk everywhere I went. [...]

[...] This morning at work I was talking with a student who also has a four year-old who is in kindergarten (A German Kindergarten is like a North American pre-school for children ages 3 to 6) from 7:30 am to 1pm every day. My son, goes from roughly 8:30 to almost 4 from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays his Kindergarten closes at 3:30 and on the last Wednesday of every month at 1:30. The crazy schedule, though, is nothing compared to my worries that they let the kids run a little too wild or the fear I felt when I picked him up with a cut on his head after falling off the slide.
Thanks for your comment. I am feeling refreshed and way more engaged and again now that I've taken a break. Hope your first full day back to work (other than mother work) has left you wanting more.

Same thing happened to me back in 2003 when I went back to work 7 months after I gave birth. My breasts hurt. I tried to pump at work but in the end, the milk disappeared. Of course, that happened after days and days of having engorged breasts.

Goodluck!
