Happy Birthday Son!

Today is Little A’s 2nd Birthday, but we celebrated it two days ago. Why do something like this? We knew that not all the family would be
here on his actual birthday. Sometimes the only thing that matters is having the family there.
He had a chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream, his dad went out and got the Thin mint ice cream. Yes, the girl scouts now have ice cream out there for those that did not know and it really does taste like thin mints. Yummy. I couldn’t eat much as I have been sick but I did have a bite of each. When it came time for him to blow out the candles he definitely knew what he was doing. I actually thought we’d have to show him, but we told him and he blew it right out.
Course it was the presents everyone was waiting to see his expression on. He got a mailbox that sings, counts and has letters to go in. A tug boat from Fisher-Price for his bathtime fun, he loves the bath so this is perfect and there’s a little squirt fish. He got a small truck from Playskool and then one of those old pull along phones. I had seen a Jack-in-the-box but refused to pay $13 for it, plus it probably would’ve scared him.
Today, we’ve each sang to him and we’ll be going to the parade. Thankfully he’s at the age that he won’t care if we celebrated early. Happy Birthday Little A, we love you!
