Wow, what a day to begin working on a blog such as this. I guess I’ll start by saying thanks to all of you for welcoming me to this blog. I really hope I do it justice and of course would love to hear your opinions as we travel down this road together.

Since the greetings of the day are out of the way, I guess I should introduce myself. I mean who wants to sit around reading someone that they don’t even know right? How am I going to tell you something if you don’t know much about me?  I could be someone that is single and just wants to talk babies, or someone that has a whole bunch. So here goes….

Hi, I’m Eliza Ferree, wife and mother to four. Yes, I said four and I love all of them so much. I have two boys and two girls, which is the perfect amount I think, the oldest (age 10) and the youngest (just turned 11 months today) are both boys, which means the two middle are our girls (ages 7 & 4). What does this mean? Well I’ve been through many “mommy and baby things” from mastitis, potty training, reflux to a number of other ailments. I’m always willing to give my input and ask for yours as well.

We recently got out of the military but during the course of it I learned to travel with children, so I’ll probably be writing a bit on that as well since it was so recent. We just found a house last month after being in hotels for over a month and following that up with an accident. Life on the road wasn’t always easy with teething gums and kids missing their friends but we got through it and so can you.

A bit more about me, I want to be honest when I tell ya that I’m addicted to blogging. You can find my most recent postings at my personal blog, Life of a Home Mom.  The best way to contact me is via email at homemom3@gmail.com

So, are we ready to begin? What’s on your agenda for today? Today, we will be having our own family Valentine’s Day Party for the older kids. The youngest, since he is on baby food he will not get all the sweets and yums as we will but he will love the painting.

Welcome to b5media! I have seen “Homemom3″ around the blogging community quite a bit. :)

We too just got out of the military after 9 years, so I understand the whole traveling with children thing. We moved 5 times in 7 years. It was nuts.

I’m looking forward to seeing what you bring to Babylune.

Hi Ya Homemom - Tracee from BlogFabulous stopping over to say hello. I’m a home mom too with a 6 year old girl and a nearly 2 year old boy. I think that’s the perfect amount. When I was a kid we had 2 girls and 2 boys and I thought that was the perfect amount - until I was pregnant and had a baby and then I realized it was harder than it looked. So, two became my magic number.

Welcome to the family. First, I want to thank you and your family for allowing your husband to serve our country. And my hat is off to you for having 4 kids. We haven’t decided if we are done with only 2. You will do just fine.
