You know my favorite part about being a mom of a baby is watching them grow, but even more is hearing their tiny voices change through time. I was always trying to figure out how the little minis

IMG: The Life of a Home Mom
My first born is a gentle heart, quiet but loves to learn new things. My second child let her voice be heard since day one and she still does. She’s my social butterfly but ya better not make her mad because she’ll let ya know. My third is a quiet and sensitive soul, she’s patient and kind and will make you feel bad the moment you disappoint her. Little A, I’m not sure yet, he’s still learning his words and it is so neat to watch him pick them up and then try putting them into a sentence.
Some words he likes: nana (his sister’s name), barbar (barney), choochoo (trains), nopuntzbak (no punch back), eye (I love you) keem (ice cream), momo (elmo)
Earlier he came running in and patting me: “Momma, momma, momo,” as he strummed a guitar and turned on his dancing Elmo. He wanted me to know he was playing the guitar with his Elmo. A bit later we got a package that had a Thomas the Tank in it and he ran to me telling me about the “ChooChoo.” I think he thought I had no clue what he was saying so he ran into another room and brought out and armload of Thomas the trains. “ChooChoo, momma” as he dumped them by me and grabbed the movie and put it in my face. I couldn’t help but laugh at his determination, “Yes Trains. You want to watch it?” He’s now watching the movie and playing with his trains. How does your child put words together when they don’t think you understand?</p>
