International Motherhood

OK, there are disadvantages to this international life. We are always missing someone. We can’t put down roots by taking out a mortgage or even having a pet. There is always another place to be, another set of relationships developing without us.
The advantage, though, is that we get to learn from how other people live. For me, watching how women mother in other countries is an opportunity I don’t want to miss.
